Red Eye Image Format

Saving as a GIF...

Saving as a JPEG...

Saving as a PNG...

I don't see much of a difference between the PNG and the JPEG. The GIF, however does not look a nice as the other two.

Assignment 2-2: My GIMP Photo

This is a picture of my sister (left) and I (right) this past winter playing ice hockey together. I've been playing ice hockey since i was 5 years old when my father first got me into the sport. I played all throughout high school and was even captain my senior year. During that time we had finally managed to make it to tournament. I now help out as a volunteer coach.

Assignment 2-1: What is Immersive Education?

In the first image they are talking about how students can come together in a virtual world and build a house. They are able to keep track of who did what. This saves a lot of time compared to doing it in the real world.

The second image young children are brought on a virtual tour of The Smithsonian Virtual Watershed which was brought to their elementary school.

The third image shows objects that are super-imposed and brought into the real world so you can interact with them as if they were actual physical objects.
