Class 10, The Education Grid

 I went onto the theeducationgrid.org and read some information on the Education Grid. They are beginning to use different virtual worlds for educational purposes only. I think this is really neat because everything is so computer based now, kids are used to learning from a computer. It also gives them a new way of learning which could possibly be more interesting for the kids than the typical learning in a classroom listening to the teacher lecture. They are making these virtual worlds secure so only teachers and students can access them with no third parties. This is good because they know for sure that kids aren't getting exposed to anything inappropriate.
