Final #3: Group 3D Building Project

Here are some screenshots from our group building assignment. We chose Minecraft, which I think was the best thing to use cause it is so easy to use. The hardest part was probably getting everyone together. A lot of people got lost for a while, but we were able to eventually able to find them. It was hard to get started because we weren't really sure what to do, but once one person started building we all kinda caught one and joined it.
We built a huge mansion with a bunch of levels including a cave/basement. We also built a few swimming pools with a very high diving board. We also managed to start a minor flood and huge fire which almost burnt down my entire farm/stable that I worked for a while on. At one point someone filled my farm with pigs which was really annoying, but I eventually managed to get them out. I also built the second floor of the mansion and decorated with pictures and banners and stairs leading up to the second floor.

Here is a beautiful view of our masterpiece at night!

This is a final where the entire class built together in minecraft. It is a final exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc.
